Morocco’s Direct Flights to Nairobi to Boon Tourism in Kenya
Morocco has launched bi-weekly direct flights to Nairobi, a move that is expected to help boost tourism in Kenya.
Morocco’s national airline Royal Air Maroc (RAM) on Thursday launched its bi-weekly direct flights to Kenya, a move that the Kenyan government expects could help boon the tourism sector.
The launch of direct flights between Casablanca and Nairobi will significantly reduce cost and distance of travel between the two cities. Moreover, this is also hoped to increase trade between the economies.
Kenya Tourism Board (KTB) noted that it was eager to learn how Morocco managed to attract 10 million tourists compared to Kenya’s 1.4 million arrivals.
